Amazing UX/UI
All our Promoters agree that Retently offers a one-of-a-kind UI and UX. We made sure our UI is extremely intuitive, and that you have a very easy time getting the hang of it. While SatisMeter offers decent NPS data visualization with their UI, it feels cumbersome at times.
Excellent NPS Campaign Management
SatisMeter lets you set up NPS campaigns so that you can better track your surveys, however you’re very limited regarding how you can customize them, beside minor targeting options, and language preferences.
Retently, on the other hand, gives you a clear overview for each NPS campaign, lets you decide what type of campaign you want to run (Transactional, Regular, In-App), and an easy way to customize survey templates, audience, schedule, notifications, and workflows.
Time-Saving Automations
SatisMeter lets you enjoy a certain level of automation thanks to their integrations, but you’re a limited in the available options.
With Retently, you can save a lot of time and effort by setting up automation and workflows. For example, you can set up an automation scenario where bounced surveys are automatically unsubscribed, or where a conversation is automatically started with customers who don’t leave feedback or give you a poor score.
Highly Customizable Survey Templates
With SatisMeter, you’re very limited in terms of how much you can customize your in-app and email surveys. You can tweak the background, text, and button colors, change the position on the screen for in-app surveys, and edit your product/service name, but that’s about it. You can’t change the question, edit the open-ended question, or use another font - just to name a few things.
Retently lets you do much more. You can color-code the buttons to make them more intuitive, change their shape, edit the questions (main rating and open-ended questions), subject line, tweak the fonts, and even change the text for the “Not Likely/Very Likely” and “Unsubscribe” sections.
Multi-Language Support
SatisMeter offers decent language support since you can choose from up to 27 languages for your surveys. Retently, however, goes the extra mile and gives you full reign over how you want to customize the language in your surveys. You aren’t limited by any language selectors or predefined translations. Instead, you can fully customize your NPS survey texts and translate them as you need.
No Vendor Survey Branding
When you send surveys with SatisMeter, you’ll always have the little “Powered by SatisMeter” link at the bottom of the survey. The only way to get rid of it is to pay an extra $50/month
With Retently, you don’t need to worry about that. We removed all Retently branding from our surveys, so you can easily make sure they make respondents only think of your brand.
Custom Data Properties
With SatisMeter, you can’t upload CSV files with default or custom properties for your customers. Instead, the service uses an HTML snippet to keep track of users and offer some basic default properties about them (company, position, email, etc.) in your Dashboard.
Retently offers support for CSV files with tons of default and custom data properties, and you can also add customers manually or import them through supported integrations. Plus, you can map default properties with customers imported from integrations.
Full Data Segmentation
SatisMeter doesn’t really offer an easy way to segment your survey audience. When you’re tweaking audience targeting options for your surveys, you can only segment respondents by sign-up date, or the last or first time they saw a survey.
Retently lets you segment your audience by default and custom properties with ease, and you can also use tags for further segmentation. What’s more, when setting up a campaign, you can segment your audience by setting up filters based on tags, custom properties, or custom integration segments.
